    Intelligent, Manly, Dependable       Product Reviews
    by: drgreenfield       on: 01-Nov 2005

I have worn this watch for almost a year now, and it is a watch that impresses me more and more the longer I own it. It is a big watch, and takes some getting used to. However, once you have grown accustomed to its presence on your wrist, you will feel naked without it on. It's sort of like having an intelligent but quiet pet. It needs regular doses of sunlight to keep its solar battery charged. And it needs open air (or nearness to a window) at night to keep its atomic time. Give it those two things, and you've got a dependable pet watch. There will never be any uncertainty when driving to an appointment over whether your watch is accurate and you will be on time. You will know what The Time is, exactly. Daylight Savings Time: never fear that you will forget to set your clock ahead or back. That is done for you during the synching process. Shouldn't all good watches be intelligent like that? One last point: I am not a big burly guy; I am tall and slender. But in the summer when I wear this watch with a really nice Columbia tee, it makes me look (more) manly. No, it's definitely not a fashion statement, but definitely a sign of intelligence, organization, and (mental) toughness.
