Citizen Men's Eco-Drive Professional Diver Watch BM8230-58E By: Citizen ![]() Average Rating: 5.00 Total Reviews: 2 Price: $335.00 Prices subject to change Product Description: Rugged enough for diving, the Citizen BM8230-58E titanium men's watch is stylish enough for everyday and dress wear. Titanium is nearly 50 percent lighter than steel, but 30 percent stronger. It's also particularly resistant to salt water corrosion. This large, round watch measures 1.6 inches in diameter and is water resistant to 200 meters (660 feet). It has a textured black background, large luminous dial markers and luminous baton hands (with a red-accented second hand), and a day/date function at 3 o'clock. The silver titanium bracelet band is composed of brushed and polished pieces. Other features include Japanese quartz movement and Citizen's 5-year warranty. It's also powered by Citizen's unique Eco-Drive, which absorbs sunlight and any artifical light through the crystal and dial to recharge the watch continuously. With regular exposure to light, the Eco-Drive continuously recharges itself for a lifetime of use. Eco-Drive Frequently Asked Questions How long will an Eco-Drive watch run after it is fully charged? How can the Eco-Drive watch be recharged? Reviews Excellent Timepiece by: Anonymous on: 31-Oct 2005 I got this watch for $250 at Helzberg Diamonds, and it is worth that. Even with the price on amazon being $160 dollars I don't regret spending $250 on this watch. This watch is extremely light since it is made from titanium, and feels very easy to wear. I almost bought a Seiko Kinetic until all of the Seiko kinetic watches that looked this classy and were titanium were at least a hundred dollars more. Overall I am very happy with this watch, and for this price on amazon it is as cheap as buying a low level fossil. This is an amazing watch! by: babzen on: 14-May 2005 This watch really is amazing. I bought it for my father, and if another comes in stock at the store I bought it ($150 at Costco), I might just have to get one for me, because I've been checking it out, and it's great. Lightweight, as titanium is, but durable. The band is more rigid than on Skagan titanium watches, but pretty similar to any other titanium watch I've seen or used. The technology in this is just amazing - you can use it for diving, it doesn't need batteries, even without sun or lights, it works for 6 months from a full charge. I had a few issues setting the date, because the space between "clicks" is small. The "day" indicator is in Italian for PM, English for AM - and so far I'm not really a fan of that.
