This is the best watch I've ever owned       Product Reviews

I shopped around quite a bit before I found this watch. I have owned several decent watches and this is my favorite. I like the quality of the stainless steel case. The watch feels very solid and well-made. I also really dig the rotating bezel. I actually use it a lot to time things, more than I ever used the stopwatch on a digital watch. The movement is Japanese and keeps excellent time. It looks great and the band is comfortable. The backlight works well, and I often don't even need it because the glow in the dark hands are very good and glow all night. I've actually had people comment on how much they like my watch. The face is clear and easy to read.

I actually bought the Freestyle Shark X Yellow watch first but I didn't like it. The backlight only worked on the digital window and the watch just didn't have the quality feel of the hammerhead. I returned the Shark X and bought the hammerhead.

Amazon seems to have the best price. I lucked out and got this watch new for $50 at a store called "Mardens" in Maine. Mardens buys out inventories of stores going out of business, etc. They had some very nice stuff..I had a hunch they were losses from stores affected by Huricate Katrina. If you've got $90 to spend on a watch, I think this is a good choice.
